This is the 3rd time we have been lucky enough to stay at The Platinum Villas and we could not be more happy or sad when we leave - we just love the place. The entire process runs smoothly from check in (thanks Sinead) to one small maintenance issue (thanks Martin) and finally to check out (thanks Ben)The size of the units, washer dryer / fire place and full kitchen are all perfect when combating Queenstowns cold but fantastic weather and when combined with the view from the place is a winner. In some selfish way I dont want to speak so highly of Platinum as I want to keep it fully available for when we return again (already in the diary for 2019) but thats not fair as excellence needs to be rewarded. If you are lucky enough to be thinking about Platinum just go; you will not be disappointed.

We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. We stayed 7 nights. The villa was excellent. Very clean cosy and added features such as heated towel rails underfloor heating in the bathroom and a fantastic gas fire. The views were fantastic. Bus stop at the door and $2 per trip anywhere on the bus network. We all went to Arrowtown for $8 each way. Staff were friendly even when we lost their last tennis balls. A bit pricey but everywhere in Queenstown is. Still the best value we could find.

The view there was breath-taking, we were at the centre of the lake facing villa row. The villas are extremely spacious with 3 bedrooms on the upper floor. Main bedroom faces lake and has a King sized bed and an ensuite bathroom. Other 2 bedrooms have a shared bathroom with 1 having a queen sized bed and another 2 twin single beds. The living room/ dining/ open kitchen were extremely big and we certainly enjoyed the fire place that made our stay during the recent cold spell so cosy. If walking to this development, do note that it is on higher grounds so there is a upwards slope to conquor that may be difficult especially for those with luggages. If arriving by vehicle, it's not an issue. Taxi to city centre is approximately NZ$10-12 range but the city centre is within walking distance. No housekeeping services during our stay but that was fine. This service however is available for those willing to pay a slight extra. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to be back again in future!

For starters; the pictures don't do justice to the location as the views are absolutely magical. We had booked the villa for 3 days and there is not one negative about this place. For anyone who prefers to stay indoors; this place is packed with all the essentials to sit back and relax on the couch: DVD players; home theatre system, fireplace, DVDs and games which can be rented from the more than helpful reception, a kitchen which is equipped with state of the art facilities. For outdoor enthusiasts; the villa is only a 10 minute walk from the happening town centre of Queenstown. I would definitely be visiting this place soon and would highly recommend platinum villas for anyone passing through this beautiful city. Cheers.

With fantastic views over the Lake. Quiet location- about 10-15 mins walk into town (a bit harder coming back up hill ). The villas are well equipped and have every thing you need. The team are very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommend the villas as a place to stay...

Can highly recommend the Platinum Villas for a stay in Queenstown in summer. We had a lakeside apartment with uninterrupted stunning views of Lake Wakatipu and surrounding mountains. The ground floor has bi fold doors that can be fully opened out onto a lawn area to maximise the sense of space and connection to the outdoors. The apartments are well appointed with full kitchen and laundry facilities. I have to say I found the beds to be the comfiest I have ever experienced - probably because of the special woollen underlays that they offer for sale to guests because they get asked so frequently! The apartments are located up a hill at the end of the town centre - it is probably a 20 minute walk into the town centre and a slightly longer uphill climb back, but we enjoyed the exercise. Parking is at a premium so I wouldn't recommend driving into the town centre but taxis are readily available if you are looking for a trip home. All in all - a fabulous stay in a beautiful place!

Queenstown was our last stop in our two week holiday in New Zealand and we stayed at platinum villas which were a little out of town but had spectacular views of the bay and great Wi-Fi, great amenities and really comfortable bedding; the main bedroom had a bath ,very relaxing after walking around Queenstown and we were able to eat in a couple of nights; thoroughly recommend staying there and we will be booking return visit next year.
